Black and white wedding photography is not just about the ceremony. It’s the story of two people that begins in a single moment but lasts forever. This is the message carried by the photograph I captured. PROWED Awards for the competition, and which received triple recognition Picture of the Day, Picture of the Week and Picture of the Month (2024 Y.)

The photo was taken in Georgia, in one of the modern hotels Lopota Lake Resort & Spa. On the upper balcony, the bride in her white dress moves gracefully, as if dancing in the air. Below, the groom takes off his suit jacket it seems as if they are each in their own separate worlds, yet in reality, they are united in one shared moment of love.

Why black and white?
When colors fade, only the essence remains - emotion, silence, context, and rhythm. This particular shot didn’t need words; it tells the story of love through movement, space, and symmetry itself.

Why is this photo important?
