Christening is a special and sacred day when a new life is welcomed into the heart of the Church. It is not just a ritual - it is a divine moment of beginning, one that will carry deep meaning throughout a lifetime. That is why christening photography is one of the most intimate and emotional photography services I offer. I approach it with great care, tenderness, and love.

As a photographer, my mission is to become an invisible observer in those exact moments to capture the delicate details of the christening that might otherwise be forgotten in everyday life: the way a mother’s lips touch her baby’s forehead, the tiny hand gently holding the godparent’s finger, or the soft smile in a grandmother’s eyes under the glow of a candle…

A story told through photographs

This album features five photographs taken during a christening ceremony in Tbilisi. Each image tells its own little story - a blend of light, faith, and family love.

In my photos, I strive to preserve the natural play of light and the gentle serenity that is so characteristic of a child. A christening is not just the documentation of a religious act - it is a documentary memory meant to be passed down through generations.

Where and how?

I photograph christenings all across Georgia, especially in Tbilisi, Mtskheta, and other regions with beautiful churches and temples. As a photographer, my style is documentary - focused on natural, candid emotions.

I love the play of light and shadow, the minimalist use of space, and the tonality that gives the photo a distinct warm and authentic feeling.
