A wedding is a celebration that couples await for years. This day is full of emotions, bright smiles, tears, excitement, love, and details that together create a unique story. As a wedding photographer in Georgia, my mission is to capture those unique, unforgettable moments that will tell the same story with the same intensity even years later.
This gallery contains 43 photos from the weddings of various couples. They were taken in many cities and regions of Georgia - starting from Tbilisi and ending with Kakheti, Batumi, and Kazbegi. Each location had its own character: a wedding set against vineyards, a seaside ceremony, a story captured in the mountains, or an atmosphere created in the old districts of Tbilisi. As a photographer from Tbilisi, I always strive to adapt the visual narrative to each location.
The central axis of this collection was the conveyance of genuine emotions through a documentary style - a hug after the ceremony, a father's tears upon seeing his bride, friends' laughter on the dance floor, hands touching unposed for the camera but full of feeling. Such moments create that special character that turns a photo into a real memory.
Wedding photography in Georgia means simultaneously capturing emotion and maintaining technical perfection. The couples' attire, decorated spaces, symbolic details, and music created a completely different atmosphere for each wedding. The photos also emphasize details - invitations adorned with fragments from "The Knight in the Panther's Skin," hand-woven wreaths, or a wedding dress sewn by the mother. These details not only enhance the wedding narrative but also highlight its intimacy.
As a documentary photographer, I work lightly, unobtrusively, and naturally - mostly in motion. I take photos in those moments when the couple is dancing, the bridesmaids are winking at each other, the guests are clapping, and everyone is filled with emotion. This, for me, is the true beauty of natural photography.
This album is not just a collection of beautiful shots, but a history of wedding photography - a visual chronicle of love based on real people, real feelings, and unforgettable moments. Every couple I've worked with has entrusted me as the photographer for their most important day - and that is a tremendous honor for me.
