Photo of the Year: Wedding Shoot at Lopota

Often, a single frame tells an entire story. In my practice, there are photos that are special to me, but this work exceeded all expectations. I am delighted to share that one of my favorite pieces, on an international platform PROWED Award earned all four top statuses: Photo of the Day, Week, Month, and Best photo of the year.

Location and Concept: Lopota Lake Resort & Spa

This photo was taken in Kakheti, at one of the most popular wedding locations – Lopota Lake Resort & Spa-The architecture and nature of Lopota create an ideal environment for me, as Goga Photographer  to create cinematic shots.

The photo captures the bride and groom's preparation process, where the symmetry of the building and the placement of the characters create a dramatic yet very delicate visual composition. Such Professional photography requires not only good equipment, but also the correct perception of the environment.

Why did this become the Photo of the Year?

The international jury saw in this frame what I always look for: emotion and art. When we plan a wedding photo session, it is crucial that the couple feels free. On my blog I often write about how much of a role the photo session and posing play in the final result.
