The wedding day is full of details that vanish in an instant, but photography is the power that eternally preserves these otherworldly emotions. A photoshoot is not just about capturing outer beauty; it is a memory keeper of moments that tell the couple’s love story.

In this blog, I will share a special photo I took on an old street in Tbilisi, in the beautiful Sololaki neighborhood. The photo received international recognition and was awarded four prestigious titles by PROWEDaward, which is an especially emotional achievement for me as a wedding photographer.

Location: Sololaki – Tbilisi’s history captured in a frame

Sololaki is one of those neighborhoods where the city’s history is preserved - cracked walls, wooden balconies, cobblestones, and unusual lights create a unique atmosphere that perfectly suits documentary-style photography.

The shooting took place throughout the wedding day. We wandered the streets of Tbilisi, searching for inspiration. That’s when I noticed a glass wall that seemed to be waiting for this photo. The bride stopped, and I asked her to come closer to the glass wall for a moment and that’s how we created this wonderful shot.

This black-and-white photo taken in Sololaki captured the hearts of the professional jury and won the following awards:
